Northern Lights Estate, Tamworth

The Challenge:

The client wanted to develop the site to provide affordable house lots on the urban fringe of Tamworth. The site was previously a number of small rural land parcels with rural roads and minimal services. There was no defined drainage path. A problem was the main gas supply to Tamworth ran along the front boundary at minimal depth. Any development needed to take into account road and service works that did not compromise the integrity of the gas pipeline.   

The Solution:

We were able to provide:

• Planning services including subdivision layout design, traffic analysis, services analysis, planning submissions and client representation at Council meetings.
• Civil engineering design for roads, earthworks volumes, stormwater, sewer, water, and erosion control measures.
• Project management and liaison with Council, the civil contractor, solicitors, Land and Property Information, utility designers and utility installers.
