Tim McLean
Manager - Development & Engineering
Tim is a graduate of University of New England’s Bachelor of Engineering Technology and has well over a decades experience in the industry. In addition, Tim has also obtained a Diploma of Project Management and a Diploma of Engineering Infrastructure Specialisation (Rail) through the University of Tasmania.
Based in our Tamworth office, Tim heads up our Engineering and Development Team and oversees Hanlons Quality Assurance system.
Over his time in the industry, Tim has developed a wide and diverse skill set including environmental impact assessments, development approvals, contaminated lands management, subdivision, civil infrastructure and bulk earthworks designs as well as project and contract management.
Tim has employed this skill set across a variety of projects requiring a multi-faceted approach including infrastructure and state significant projects. Tim has provided consulting services to the general public, local and state government authorities and infrastructure managers.
Tim holds professional memberships with the Institution of Engineers Australia, Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand and Australian Land and Groundwater Association.
Away from work, Tim is a sports tragic and a passionate (and sometimes one-eyed) rugby fanatic who enjoys coaching with his local club, spending time with his wife and young family as well as assisting in the growth of their local business.
